In-home postpartum care

Those first moments home with your baby are quite something! After the hustle and bustle of the delivery, it can be quite overwhelming and surreal that you now have the responsibility for this little human. Even though there may helping hands and good advice aplenty, you might feel comfortable to have some professional help as well.

Regardless of where you gave birth and if it was a vaginal or cesarean birth, a little help to smooth the transition from pregnancy to postpartum can make a big difference.

Here's an example of what I can help you with at home. You'll let me know what works for you, so you get the most out of our time.

  • debriefing and talking about your birth-experience

  • helping you and your family feel confident about baby care with plenty of tips and tricks

  • helping you take care of your postpartum body

  • recognizing baby's signals

  • help with breastfeeding or bottle feeding

  • care for an older sibling

  • tips and tricks for baby wearing

  • light housework like laundry, dishes, light and essential cleaning and cooking

  • connecting you to local providers that can help you if you need extra support

  • answering all your questions about postpartum

We'll start our care together with a consultation free of charge to get to know each other and decide if we are a good match.

If we decide to go ahead, the charge is $60 per hour
